When ordering through our web shop www.thebodyologists.com (“our Webshop”), you are dealing with the company Bodyologist ApS (”Bodyologist”).
Bodyologist is a danish company which produces and sell cosmetic products. You can read more on our Webshop www.thebodyologists.com.
2. THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS APPLY TO CONSUMER TRANSACTIONS
These terms and conditions apply to all consumer purchases carried out via www.thebodyologists.com (terms and conditions for B2B sales differ from these - please contact Bodyologist on email@example.com if you wish to hear more about our B2B offers).
3. SUBMISSIONS OF ORDERS
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase products on our Webshop. If you place an order, you hereby confirm that you are 18 years or older.
When you have placed an order via our Webshop, the system will automatically send you an order confirmation by email with a list of the products you have ordered and an order number. This order confirmation is your electronic receipt showing that Bodyologist has received your order. At the same time, it confirms that we have made a binding agreement. However, Bodyologist reserve the right to change or cancel your order if the information you have provided is not correct.
3.2 If you have entered incorrect information:
If you have entered incorrect or insufficient contact information when placing your order, or if you have provided an incorrect delivery address when placing your order, we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible on firstname.lastname@example.org in order for the mistake to be corrected and for you to receive correct information about your order. We will do our best to correct the mistake before shipping your order.
However, if incorrect or insufficient information has been entered and this is not corrected in time, you are responsible for the parcel with your order being sent to a wrong address. Bodyologist does not replace or reship parcels that have been sent to incorrect addresses and does not cover the costs related to reshipment of parcels (e.g. payment of postage or new delivery costs) due to incorrect information entered by you at the time of placing the order.
You can use the following means of payment on our Webshop: Visa, MasterCrd or MobilePay. It is also possible for you to pay with electronic gift vouchers purchased on our Webshop.
All prices are stated in Danish kroner (DKK) including VAT or Euro including VAT, but do not include any potential delivery costs (see section 5 below).
5.1 Delivery in Denmark:
In Denmark you can choose to have your parcel delivered by one GLS. You can choose delivery to parcel shops, to your home address or to a business address. There may be additional delivery costs and the cost of the specific delivery will be shown on your order before you make the purchase.
Bodyologist packs orders every day of the year (except Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day as well as New Year’s Eve and January 1) and your parcel is usually shipped the same day if you order before 12.00 noon. Delivery times depend on the delivery type and carrier.
Bodyologist will either in the confirmation order or in a separate e-mail provide information about when you can expect shipment of your order and an estimated time of delivery. Delivery times will always be estimates and may vary in peak seasons.
If you have ordered more than one product, Bodyologist will generally ship your total order in one parcel and therefore, the product with the longest delivery time will decide the delivery time for your total order.
Please note that Bodyologist reserves the right to redirect the parcel to another (closest) parcel shop if the selected parcel shop is too full, closed or if chosen carrier cannot deliver to the shop for other reasons (e.g. in connection with holidays or if the shop is no longer a parcel shop for the specific carrier).
5.2 Delivery to other countries:
If you select delivery to an address outside Denmark, the possible delivery types (carrier and estimated time of delivery) will appear when the foreign address is entered correctly.
6. CANCELLATION RIGHT AND RETURN
6.1 Cancellation right:
You have a 14 days’ right of cancellation when you purchase orders online from our Webshop. The cancellation period runs from the day you receive the product. If you have ordered different products in the same order and these are delivered individually, the cancellation period runs from the day you receive the last product
This means that you have 14 days from receipt of your product to inform us that you wish to cancel your purchase. Please send an email to email@example.com if you wish to cancel your purchase.
If you cancel your purchase the product in question must be returned to Bodyologist in accordance with the instructions in section 6.2 below.
Please return the product(s) without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying Bodyologist that you wish to exercise your cancellation right. Otherwise you risk losing your cancellation right.
If the product is sealed at delivery, your cancellation right no longer applies at the time you chose to break the seal. It is not a possibility to cancel a sealed product if the seal has been broken. This applies regardless of the notice being on time.
To the widest extent possible products must be returned in the same condition as you received them. If the product is delivered sealed, the product must be returned with the seal unbroken. If you have used the non-sealed products to an extent which exceeds what is necessary to determine the nature, properties, and functionality of the products, you may not receive a refund for the full purchase amount.
All costs relating to the product return to Bodyologist are borne by you. If the parcel is returned from the parcel shop by way of a return code, e.g. because you have not picked up the parcel, you will be charged a return fee. The return fee for deliveries corresponds to the delivery charge you have paid when placing the order.
Please ensure that the product is returned carefully wrapped in safe packaging. As a starting point, you will be liable for any transport damages, and we therefore recommend that you always return the product with “track and trace”.

6.3 Repayment of the purchase sum:
If you return a product in accordance with the cancellation right Bodyologist will reimburse the purchase sum. The amount will always be returned to the account connected with the payment card or payment method that was used for the order. Please note that it may take up to 7 bank days from our approval of returned products and until you see the amount in your bank account.
7. RIGHT OF COMPLAINT AND DEFECTS
The provisions in the Danish Sale of Goods Act regarding right of complaint and defects apply to product purchases made on our Webshop.
Under the Danish Sale of Goods Act you have 2 years’ right of complaint from the receipt of the product. Please remember to file a complaint within “reasonable time” after discovering the defect in the product. If you complain within two months after you have discovered the flaw or deficiency, the complaint will always be considered timely.
If your complaint is warranted, Bodyologist chooses the response. The product can either be repaired or exchanged or you may receive a price deduction or refund of the purchase price, depending on the specific situation.
If you wish to complain about a product, you must contact firstname.lastname@example.org. Please send us your order number, a photo of the product and a description of the defect.
Based on this, we will decide whether your compliant can be approved without any further examination or if further examination is necessary.
If we need to examine the product in order to carry out a further assessment of your complaint, the product must be returned to us (see section 6.2). In this case, you will initially have to cover the costs relating to the return.
Bodyologist’s decision on whether your complaint is approved or not will be sent to you (written form).
If the complaint is subsequently approved, the costs relating to the return of the defective product(s) will be refunded to you. In such case you must be able to provide a receipt for the costs relating to the return of the product(s), so it is important that you keep this documentation.
If your complaint is not approved, Bodyologist will return the product to you, and you will not receive a refund for the delivery costs relating to your complaint.
